Received an email from Bill Sables, a bit ago, to tell me that his and Lorna's daughter, Catherine, gave birth to a baby girl this morning. They have two grandsons, but this is the first granddaughter. Needless to say, he is bursting his buttons.

Thanks, Catherine and her husband Jason are both doing very well and so is the "youngun" I always wanted a grand daughter, She hasn't got a name yet. I think she should be called Heidi so as she can come and stay with her grandfather, like in the book Cheers Bill

How very wonderful! I have a granddaughter who is the apple of my eye. She is hellfire and powder and curiosity and wonderment and giggles and just plain fun. And soooo very feminine. I took one look at her and said so much for environment training. No Tonka trucks for my girl. Her decision, not mine!
