Whippoorwill - you gave lyrics for "Wedding Bells, etc.," and mentioned barbershop. Do you know of an online source for lyrics for those good old barbershop songs?

Joe, the best I've been able to come up with is an index of published and unpublished arrangements at the Society's home page

And I haven't been able to bring it up yet.
Apparently barbershoppers are more interested in arrangements than just the lyrics, and for some strange reason, the arrangers expect to be paid for them. Strange concept.

Thanks for the lead, Whip. I'll check into their barbershop songbooks. Maybe they'll be more reasonable than individual songs. I hate paying three bucks for one song for one person, and feeling guilty if I make copies for the rest of the group.

I recently picked up "Heritage of Harmony Songbook" edited by Burt Szabo and published by the Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barbershop Quartet Singing in America, copyright 1988 with 70 songs.
