What a nice little gathering. For my part I mostly kept to what has cropped up in the threads and played (or tried to - I'd not played a couple of them in years):

Sonny's mazourka/ the Donegal mazourka
The Swedish Jig (as Animatera said the above tunes reminded her of Sweedish tunes)
Elsie Marley
The Wind That Shakes the Barley.

I then swiched to Melodeon as Kendall suggested my tenor needed a 5 string neck! and did.

The Man in the Moon/ Valse Clogue.

BTW, it was great to hear Kendall back in fine voice.

Still going strong. I paid another visit and sung a few songs. I'm not sure what I did try except that I did Dancing at Whitsun as I was reminded of it in a thread yesterday and I think the song is beautiful - bit daunting though - one of those "I know the tune but not all the words and have never sung it before" jobs.

For the record I sang: Ar Hyd y Nos (All throug The Night)
Tell Me Why
Ye Mariners All
Peggy Gordon
Farewell To Tarwathie
Whiskey On A Sunday (Come Day Go Day)
Fiddlers Green
Come By The Hills

Still on with some very talented people playing and singing good songs. Aye. Dave

Peter.

Well I came in again and sang a few more songs. Another nice surprise for me was seeing Big Dog back in there and singing well.

It is still going if anyone is around. I just did Byker Hill as it was mentioned in the Elsie Marley thread.
