Subject: RE: Hearme anyone? From: Jon Freeman Date: 11 Aug 00 - 05:46 PM What a nice little gathering. For my part I mostly kept to what has cropped up in the threads and played (or tried to - I'd not played a couple of them in years):
Sonny's mazourka/ the Donegal mazourka I then swiched to Melodeon as Kendall suggested my tenor needed a 5 string neck! and did. The Man in the Moon/ Valse Clogue. BTW, it was great to hear Kendall back in fine voice. Jon |

Subject: RE: Hearme anyone? From: Jon Freeman Date: 11 Aug 00 - 08:49 PM Still going strong. I paid another visit and sung a few songs. I'm not sure what I did try except that I did Dancing at Whitsun as I was reminded of it in a thread yesterday and I think the song is beautiful - bit daunting though - one of those "I know the tune but not all the words and have never sung it before" jobs.
