Lyr Req: Gardener Child / Gairdner Child

I'd like to find intelligible lyrics to the song "The Gardner Child" -- as done by Ewan MacColl and Jean Redpath variously -- as my records are a little garbled and the Scots dialect is a little thick on both versions. I have heard that the House Band have recorded it as well. Anyone out have an Anglicized version?

It's in the DT as Gairdner Child, but is in Scots. You should be able to get the words, but it is not anglicized
