I've heard several versions of tunes that go by the name "Roll on Buddy." Would you share with me the lyrics you know to this tune?

Thanks, Brian

Hi, Brian - put roll on buddy in the blue DigiTrad search box and see what you come up with - here's one - (click me, baby)
You'll notice there's a "click to play" link at the bottom of the lyrics so you can play or download the MIDI. It plays a little slow - that seems to happen in our tune conversion process, for some reason.

Are you sure you aren't looking for "Nine Pound Hammer" the chorus goes, "roll on buddy, don't you roll so slow, how can I roll when the wheels won't go"

Guest Dessie Higgins:
You'll find variations of that verse most easily in "(I Wish I Was a) Mole in the Ground." There's usually a $9 shawl reference in that song, as well as crossing the hill with a bank note of dubious authenticity ("Sure, I've got change. How about three $7s and a $4?")

"Mole" and "Roll On Buddy" both hang out at the same family reunion.
