Subject: MUDCAT EVENT IN PROGRESS! From: wysiwyg Date: 26 Aug 00 - 02:46 PM There are three naked Mudcatters in my living room, and a soon-to-be-Mudcatter too! (ha ha haaaa-- gotcha!!! It just means we are all out of our usual character garb!!!) Lessee, there are also about a zillion birds on the wallpaper, innumerable songbooks in boxes, shelves, carts, and even the little red wagon.... various musical instruments littering the floor.... not to mention the tapes, CDs, and LPs spilling outta their baskets and whatnots.... IT'S A MUDCAT ORGY! Only GOD HIMSELF knows what we'll be up to while it lasts! The participants include:
Hardiman the Fiddler Mmm hmm, steak and corn on the cob and potato salad later on during the front porch picking!!! Mmario is here to sing an offertory for our church service tonight. So we will save the saganaki and cognac for later. Pity. We'll photo what we can. ~S~ |

First time I have ever had multiple members of the cast at a faire where I'm not known thank me for singing at a show. Course it was great that every song they did I already knew....but I could see the thoughts going through their heads - "Do we do any songs he DOESN'T know?" And I was able to do harmony on a couple of numbers I don't normally get to. |

I've been going to the PFF for 20 years now {this was my 20th }and every year someone brings up a weather related story. Remember the year it was so hot,dry ,wet, cold,etc? This year it was 2 inches of rain in 20 minutes. Mud ,Music & Funnelcake,life don't get no better. MMario,so sorry I missed the chance to meet you. I'll be in that neck of the woods again though.
