I would like to disinvent the following...political correctness, all portable radioes....obnoxious in the extreme, beer adverts..bubblegum for the brain...strip malls..they have a flair for unremitting ugliness, chain stores and Rene Levesque. |

Subject: RE: BS: Should have been lost forever From: Wolfgang Date: 11 Sep 00 - 07:54 AM Just for the record, what FishnJokr wrote about Lenin above is far from accurate: the contribution of the Germans was letting him pass through Germany from another country where he was not locked up, nothing less but also nothing more. Subject: RE: BS: Should have been lost forever From: Naemanson Date: 11 Sep 00 - 06:05 AM LAWN FLAMINGOES! How could you insinuate that we would be better off without lawn flamingoes? I suppose you believe the reflecting balls, 'sploded tires, and the lady bending over should all go too? Well, let me ask you this, Mister Man, how else will you know at a glance that you are looking at a family that loves country-western music? *TIC* NOTE: TIC = Tongue In Cheek |

Subject: Should have been lost forever From: GUEST,FishnJokr Date: 10 Sep 00 - 11:43 PM There was an earlier thread on things that were lost forever and forever missed. I would like to hear about things that would have been better off missing forever. My vote goes to a little psycho by the name of Vladimir Lenin. During WWI the Germans had the bastard locked up, but released him and put him on a train to Russia in an attempt to incite internal rebellion in Russia. Worked pretty well, too. |
