Hey Folks, I'm doing a show at THE ROYAL MILE PUB Sat Oct 14th 9:00pm Price Ave in Wheaton Maryland USA(301-946-4511). I'm gonna lay down my rockabilly shoes and return to acoustic folk. Back to old time country and country blues, flat-picking and fingerpicking and stuff. My guests will be my wife, Susette Mueller, and local guitar whiz TJ O'Malley and his wife Julie and a few surprises! (This is a show not a session or jam).

The Pub has excellent food prepared by chef Ian Morrison and the finest array of British Isles beer and Single Malt Scotch you'll find anywhere.

BillD and Ferrera thanks for the kind words. There were no 'free' weekends in Oct for me to book it. My other choice was the getaway weekend. Ferrera I won't do "Summer Wages" if you're not there, I'll save it for next time (if there is one, depends on turnout for my show).

Wesley, thanks a heap. It's fun to be playing acoustic stuff out for a change. I'm planning to come to Dallas on Wednesday, Nov. 1. Is that a session night at the bull?

TWO concerts on the SAME night, BOTH by people who are NEVER performing otherwise(even though one of them lives here.
Given my great ability to make decisions, I'll probably stay home out of frustration. If you don't see me, Chance, know that I'm there in spirit.

Hey Hey Ferrera and BillD -- Sorry you're sick. Hope you feel better.

Kathy, I'd love to see you at the Mile Saturday. Sorry for the competing dates, but there's 10 folk somethings every weekend in DC if you count dances et al. There's frequently an FSGW program. So If I do play in town there's always competition.

My last set will be at 11:30 with my son Matt (22yrs old!) who has become a fine guitar player. If the FSGW program lets out in time, stop by. We'll be playing some originals and Robert Johnson and T Bone Walker in that set, with the old time country and 'Doc Watson' stuff in the earlier sets. But you like the blues as I recall. Keep smiling that beautiful smile of yours.
