Subject: Your favourite music tracks? From: flattop Date: 12 Sep 00 - 10:34 PM We've had threads on what songs make you loony, swoony, teary and what songs makes you want to give up gummy bears, but please bear with me. I'd like to know, what are your favourite music tracks and why do you like them? Is it the tune, lyrics, harmonies, scales, keys, arrangement, instrumentation, cadences, whatever? |
Subject: RE: Your favourite music tracks? From: GUEST,Bob Date: 12 Sep 00 - 10:42 PM Payday by Mississippi John Hurt because the music fits the words that fit his voice that stirs up ancient memories in my soul, that makes me feel like everything will work out and we will all get our "payday". |
Subject: RE: Your favourite music tracks? From: GUEST,marty D Date: 12 Sep 00 - 11:19 PM Prodigal Son by Rev. Wilkens. Mostly because of that guitar part. It's hypnotic. Also Blind Willie MacTell by Bob Dylan. He just seems to really be into it. The piano playing is nice. Can I have three? Doc Watson singing Omie Wise. It's beautiful. M |
