Subject: RE: Mudcat Paltalk Concerts From: bigchuck Date: 18 Apr 01 - 08:12 AM OK, new events scheduled are: Thursday, April 19, Bigchuck, 8:00 PM EDT; Thursday April 26, Margaret V, 8:00 PM EDT (I assume), Thursday, May 3, Grab, 5:00 PM EDT, and Sunday May 6, Simple Pleasures (Bigchuck's family)3:00 PM EDT (tentative). After that, I suspect that the concert series will be on hiatus til fall except for a few special events, unless someone would like to take over the scheduling (the Woodchucks playing schedule is looking active this summer). I've designated myself as the keeper of THE LIST which insures that I get to hear many of my favorites whenever anyone is so weak as to ask for suggestions! (Sometimes they don't even have to ask.) EVERYONE enjoys Margaret's performing, but I particularly like it when she plays the harp. And I really like Bonny Portmore! |
