Most every one is familiar with the song "Black is the Color of My True Love's Hair". However, years ago, the Smothers Brothers did a parody which they called: Black is the Color of My Love's True Hair.

Although I remember the title, I have long forgotten the words. Can anyone help on this?

As I remember it, it had a straight verse of the original, then:

Black is the color of my love's true hair
Though her tresses are exceeding fair.
Black is the color of my love's true hair. But only her hairdresser kno-ows, Only her hairdresser knows!

Our version went sort of like

Red is the colour of my true loves' eyes
In the morning when I rise, in the morning etc...

Yellow is the colour of my true loves' tongue....

Black is the colour of my true loves' teeth.....

it sort of went on from there into a tale of hangovers and drunken debauchery, but I've never been able to get past the third verse....
