Subject: RE: Columbus Ohio Group From: catspaw49 Date: 21 Sep 00 - 02:57 PM Yeah...it worked. I caught them a few weeks back wandering around the Cap campus after eating at the Monk. Good job and good music. I BSed for awhile and got an invite which I'll take up on one of these days. Most of the sessions in Cols are either Irish or real heavy on the singer/songwriter stuff. Main, Thursday at the Cappucino Cafe in Westerville, OH on College near State (the 2 main drags) 7:30pm, also. On Friday 9:00am at the Drexel Cafe. In addition, a few of us play at the farmer's markets Sat. 11am-1pm near the Drexel in Bexley and on Wed. 4-6pm on Arlington Ave in Upper Arlington. This week is the Fourth Friday community gathering in Westerville, behind the Cappacino Cafe. I think we play at 7pm there. Subject: RE: Columbus Ohio Group From: catspaw49 Date: 21 Sep 00 - 11:17 PM I live about 40 miles out of town and Karen works nights at Mt.Carmel so our schedule for stuff gets a bit weird with the kids and all. But I'll be around sometime soon I hope. In the meantime, I hope you'll drop in and hang about the Mudcat. Its a great place....lots of good folks. Spaw |
