rechal...how fortunate that we 'folkies' have songs available on every subject....including philosophical meditations on the nature of 'time' to console us while we wait for each other...*smile*...a friend of mine wrote a song with these lines

"Time's a thing that keeps on flowing,
Like the water o'er a dam-
Never stopping-always going;
Changing what I was to what I am."

Thanks for the update on your bumpy ride on the waters of time...trying to deal with the space-time continuum reminds me of a quote from one of my books on Murphy's Law

"Whatever hits the fan is not distributed evenly!"

Since I have an e-mail account at work (which is where I usually check Mudcat) and one at home, there is often a delay, if not a complete synaptic disconnect between my offers of lyrics and their production.

Those who are waiting for additional lyrics to "That'll Never Happen No More," "Dontcha Feel My Leg", "Watch The Stars," and "Mama Look-a-boo-boo" should know that I haven't forgotten you-- I've just been caught up in that trap of linear time that seems to coincide with the Protestant work ethic.

Being a Jew, I find this most difficult to abide by. Hence, the delays. By the way, BillD, that nice Jeff person mailed me the lyrics to "Chicken in the Fridge" and I will post them soon. ("Soon" being a term relative to my own creative interpretation of the calendar and this space/time continuum thing with whic I seem to have so many problems.
