I saw a group perform this on a talk show some years ago and thought it was interesting. Apparently the song was inspired by a pooch having administered mouth-to-mouth resuscitation to its master in a news item. Anyone have any information? Thanks in advance.

Dear Rodney, I think the group you want is called "Blightobody". They were on Late Night With Conan O'Brien some years ago (he has a battle of the bands segment).

And a brief Net search reveals that I was right (try "Blightobody" for fleeting references), but they no longer exist, and have metamorphosed into Danielle Howle and the Tantrums. yours, Peter

Blightobody: a (sometimes annoying) enigma of music without point or boundaries. Faded out in '94--- slated for return Dec 7th 2009 (20th anniv of first live gig). Art-rock band with purpose to have catchy hooks and wacky lyrics. Non conformists. Mix 70's Sweet with Beatles and Thin Lizzy-- with a dash of David Lynch. Periodically wore costumes (or the audience did). Played on Conan show which was career highlight. Attempted to have fun while trying to cast a mood with album-type music deployment.

Any idea how to get Mp3 from their earlier work? I have Poovy's Groove but need songs from Modern Pressure Vessel. The tape bit the dust many many moons ago.
