Ahh, got part of one. Listen to #5 at about the 1:50 mark. Ring the bells of heaven, there is joy today, glory, glory to the new born king. ~~ and there is where I lose it, it is a Christmas song that won't quite come to me.

Just wanted to say that I worked on them, too ~~ same results as Joe ~~ ZERO, sorry. I guess they must have been "jazzed" right out of their tunes, or they are completely unknown to me.

Paul, I was able to get to the recordings by doing some fiddling around, but I was unable to make a direct link to the recordings. I think your Website provider probably has something that prevents direct linking to sound and image files at your site. I'd suggest you make a page on your website with links to the songs, and then post a link to that page here.
I listened to all five recordings and couldn't recognize a one of them - and I'm a church musician and I think I know my hymns pretty well.

I have a tape at home of a group called 'The Manhatten Brass Choir'. The only thing I know about it is that they formed in the 60's to make a recording of hymn tunes arranged for brass band, with jazz arrangements. Does anyone have any information on this group?

Also, I am needing the titles to 5 of the songs. I have them linked here, so if you recognize the tunes, please let me know....
