This past weekend, I just caught the last few minutes (naturally) of a great bit on a local PBS TV station. Ms. Butler (of Riverdance fame) dancing to fiddle, Sharon Shannon on accordian and three Japanese drummers. There were more musicians I could not recognize and the credits rolled too fast.

Did anyone else see this? What was the name? I'd like to try to find a rerun.

Hutzel, if you go to www.pbs.org and clicked on TV Schedules, then put in your zip code to get your local listing, the October calendar page pops up. Then you can check to see what was on, on Sunday last. I noticed at the bottom of the page, there was a link for September, so that you could check Saturday's too.

When I did a search using "Irish dancing with Japanese drummers" nothing came up that looked right. You might try a search with Ms. Butler's name.

A bit of thread creep here, but on a related note, Ireland's Claddagh Records released an album of traditional Irish music performed by two Japanese musicians plus guests, entitled Paddy And Bridget And Their Great Friends.

Thanks, but I checked with PBS first. Trouble is , I don't know the name of the show and the listings don't all show content.

Anyone else got any info?
