I shall put on my full circle black cotton almost to my ankles skirt, with my deep cleavage peasant blouse, throw my fringed paisley shawl across my shoulders, put bells on my toes and rings on my fingers, and, Sins, I think I borrowed those hoop earrings and, um, er....forgot to give them back, but I've got this awesome Guatamalean wedding necklace you can borrow...and I will wear my necklace from India with all of the brass cats dangling from it....

Now, let's see, that'll be 7pm my time, so I WILL be able to be there and I am putting a note on my monitor so I don't miss it like I did last week's concert!

Ok ... here's my secrets for straight hair:

If it's long enough, iron it and use stale beer as a setting lotion.

If you can't iron it without burning yourself, juice cans and soup cans to roll it and use the stale beer as a setting lotion.

One morning, I was wearing 4 inch platform sandals and standing at the corner of my boss's desk. All of a sudden, I lost my balance, fell off my shoes, sprawled across my boss's desk sending everything flying off the top of the desk and onto the floor.

It was one of my proudest moments in history...

I'll wear an aloha shirt, of course. My grass skirt is in the wash. Actually, though, in Mbo's honor maybe I should wear my Phillies cap and bring Tastykake butterscotch krimpets, soft pretzels with mustard, and Frank's Black Cherry Wishniak.

(Lena, just download the damn program and you can bring your laptop to the beach. What do you mean you don't have a wireless modem?)

I had a similar experience a few weeks ago. Dropped a pencil, leaned over to get it. My chair flew out behind me hitting a metal desk with a thunderous clang. I fell forward into a trash basket which flew (also with a thunderous clang) spewing debris all over the place. People came running from all directions to find their Manager of Global Sales sitting on the floor amid empty coffee cups unable to get up because she was laughing too hard. I give them all credit - no one laughed UNTIL the next day. Our offices are all under security cameras. I have been threatened with "World's Funniest home Videos".

Okay, black of course. Black pants and a crinkley black blouse with day-glo beads and feathers. A necklace of turquoise chunks, and of course I'll iron my hair, if I can find the iron (that explains the crinkley blouse). The whole covered with liberal amounts of white hair (two white dogs furiously shedding at the moment).

I'll bring a couple of quarts of clear, smooth moonshine from a nearby county (the local stuff's oily rotgut). Last time I mentioned this, nobody'd try it. Humpf! Your loss. If I were in Mbo's area, I'd slide over to an island and get a gallon jug of homemade tomato wine. Looks like ditch water, complete with sludge, but the taste is heaven and it will put you face down pretty quickly.

You go, Mbo, looking forward to it.

Bringing falafels, humus, and olive breadsticks, arranged artistically on a platter with parsley, pimento olive, and red pepper garnish. Oh, and a barrel of Elderflower Pressé with those tinkly glasses.

HoHos are little cakes made by Hostess. Spaw has discovered that they give the most realistic appearance to his codpiece. Spaw, those things will melt and make a mess so we are sitting you away from the white sports coat and tan shoes crowd. With 20" sleeves, maybe we'll put you next to Den. I have my doubts about her black toast strategy. Now if you replaced the HoHos with raspberry tarts, you two could have toast and jam - just a thought.
