your lawyer was on the witness stand? most iregular! Lawyers are only interested in winning. Thats how the adversary system works. When I was in law enforcement, it was my job to prosecute. It was his lawyers job to get him off. No more, no less. I've seen lawyers commit some pretty awful acts in court, one of them designed to throw his client to the dogs. He did.And the poor bastard never knew what had been done to him.
In my opinion, a cop or any other enforcement office who lies on the stand is lower than snake shit in a wagon track. Anyway, congratulations! Boys can be a trial for mothers.

My computer crashed as I was reading this last week, and by the time I got back it had disappeared. I'm glad it's back, and I can join the celebration!

But would someone PLEASE tell me why there are lawyers who have so little regard for the TRUTH???? (I've had one lie about a conversation he had with me, ON THE WITNESS STAND! Where he didn't belong anyway!) I know there are good ones, but there is a reason there are so many lawyer jokes.

But Sorcha, I hope you two fly on unencumbered for GOOD! Your hearts have wings!

It's a good feeling Sorcha. My son had his day and he wasn't innocent and he got himself into a good deal of trouble. We saw it through, dealt with the consequences, and today he is at Culinary Institute of America, doing an extern at the Sagamore Resort for 6 months, then back to CIA for the rest of his degree. It was hard for him and harder for me (my beautiful son) and I know what 'having your heart in a blender' is about! He learned and I'm confident he's going to have a good life.

Anyway, the point is, I know what your feeling, and congratulations to both you and your beautiful son.

YES!! YES!! I got my one and onliest birthday wish!! My son is free! He had to plead guilty to a misdemeanor disorderly conudct charge, and pay a $100 fine, but he will not have a probation violation or lose his deferred probation status! And it is OK with his probation officer!! He will not have to go to prison for something he did not do!!

Sorcha is BACK!! I don't believe it!! I don't believe it!! I am still butting my head against the clouds!! Oh, thank you all the gods, thank you, thank you. Oohhhhhhh. I think I can breathe again, after over a month.
