From a Reuters report about competition between the big pharmaceutical firms and small:

"Competition with the first-in-line generic generally brings prices to a range of 50-70 percent of the original branded price level, and subsequent generics bring prices to as low as 20 percent of the original, said Richard Feinstein, head of the FTC's health care services and products division."
