I need a piper to come to Mayne Is. (BC) on January 27 to play at a Robbie Burns Supper. We're a small community and can't afford alot but can offer a great evening on the Gulf Islands with talented homegrown folk and good food! I 'reel'ize this may be taking a long shot as this is a busy weekend for Pipers but hey you never know...it's worth taking a fling at

Sorry, LL, the only pipers I know personally are in central Colorado, US. Good Luck. And spaw, have you ever tried Automatic Pilot? Might help some.

I don't think your request is far fetched at all, Lyrical Lady!

Here's a good link for you... the website for The B.C. Pipers' Association. I'd suggest sticking a notice in their newsletter, which reaches all the bands in the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island.

I'll spread your message by word of mouth to the bands here in Victoria and to others in the Duncan area.
