Subject: Bore and Gush: Ace politicians? From: GUEST,Colwyn Dane Date: 14 Oct 00 - 05:32 PM G'day,
Question: What are the desirable qualifications for any young man who wishes to become a politician?
Mr Churchill: It is the ability to foretell what is going to happen tomorrow, next week, next month, and next year.
Which of the two candidates has the long-sight of Old Moore and/or the story-telling of Baron Muenchhausen?
Answers please on the back of a 100 dollar bill and send to yours truly. Bcnu.

Subject: RE: BS: Bore and Gush: Ace politicians? From: Skeptic Date: 16 Oct 00 - 12:42 PM A little off topic but related. Across the sea, (or across the border) do you have the same voter apathy that affects the US? (Less that 50% turnout. And thats of those registered)I read an editorial from the Times remarking on it and on how involved the minority is, but no comparrison to other countries. Maybe if we had an ace politician versus the "packaged commodity types" our politics seems to attract..... Regards John |
