Subject: Thank You For The Valley From: Dulci46 Date: 27 Oct 00 - 02:14 PM This is a southern gospel song. All I can remember of the lyrics is: Thank you for the valley I walk through today. Jufy |
Subject: RE: Lyr/Chords Req: Thank You For The Valley From: Jim Dixon Date: 21 Dec 10 - 02:42 PM I found a slightly longer quote in a novel called Daniel by Mary Christner Borntrager. (Thorndike Press, 2000), page 139: Thank you for the valley I walk through today. The darker the valley, the more I learned to pray. I found you where the lilies were blooming by the way. And I thank you for the valley I walk through today. The theme of the novel seems to suggest the song might be Amish. But do the Amish sing songs in English? |
