Subject: RE: Lyr/Chords Req: Old Dun Cow chords From: Gary T Date: 30 Oct 00 - 02:37 PM I've only heard it done with guitar accompaniment. I have worked out a chord sequence which works for me, though I suspect there's a "better" chord arrangement to be had (I use Am, Dm, & E). I'm quite pressed for time right now, and it would take me a while to lay out the chord changes with the lyrics. I'll plan to do that later, probably this evening. |
Subject: RE: Lyr/Chords Req: Old Dun Cow chords From: GUEST,Elektra Date: 30 Oct 00 - 03:02 PM I have heard Brendan Nolan perform this song in person and he is a LOT of fun! Be sure to see him if you ever get the chance. I also own the excellent version he recorded on his live album Southern Sunset (If you are interested, he has made some songs available on the web here, though unfortunately ODC is not one of them.) *Elektra* |

Subject: RE: Lyr/Chords Req: Old Dun Cow chords From: McGrath of Harlow Date: 31 Oct 00 - 05:03 PM I can't see how any kind of ordinary accompaniment would do anything for the Dun Cow. If it has to have an accompaniment, maybe a brass band. < The only accompaniment you want here is other people singing along. And drink. |
