Another special kind of 'Catter isn't she folks? A great combo of independence and softness......an iron fist in a velvet glove, but often a mush filled glove as well. Another of my joys from the 'Cat.

All this by way of saying that she also sent my boys T-shirts from the World Series......just 'cause she's nice. Some of us have had conversations behind her back and all have agreed she seems to be one of the most generous people we know, giving of far more than money or gifts, but giving of herself.

Glad you found this place Mary....We are all better for it.

What's the Mudcat if not diverse? But, of course, Mary brings out the best of our diversity. Totally agree with your take on her being here, Spaw. We are the better for it.

Like JE, I mentioned we might try to make a vacation thru NE to include NYC and she immediately offered all sorts of things to us. I said something to BillD. about it and HE had a story.................You're pretty fine people there Sins!

By the way, if you should happen to be in such a generous mood again you might send my daughter a 25' Cape Dory sailboat. This would not be for me, of course. She just loves sailing. Really not for me at all. Once she has it she will learn to love sailing. really.
