Hi,

Has anyone listend to the CD

'The Rough Guide to Irish FOLK Music'

as I am considering buying it but would like some opinions first.

Note that this is not to be confused with the very similarly titled "The Rough Guide to Irish Music"

Thanks,

Sean MacRuaraidh

Yes,

I listened to it last night in the Virgin Megastore in Cardiff.

I was not at all impressed and will therefore not be purchasing it.

It was a mixture of songs and tunes, but only one or two were worth listening to.

IMHO The album 'Rough Guide to Irsh Music' is a better mix of tracks/artists and I will probaly purchase that instead.

Cheers,

Sean.
