It is 3:05 PM Mountain time right now, and about 5:05 PM Mudcat time. I can't remember where you are located Jon, but I hope that helps you figure out the time for your zone.

Thanks Alice. I am in Wales (UK) and therefore on GMT but I am quite used to working in Mudcat Time but I get lost with other time zones. That will make it a 3am start for me but I have the reputation of being a bit of a vampire and I could still be up.

Wow. I hope others are listening to this, too. The historical notes regarding the turn of the century happenings of Civil War veterans who came here and the type of music played in the old Bozeman Opera House is very interesting. What do you think of it, Jon?

One of the interesting things about this group is that they look for historic buildings to perform in that are fit for acoustic music. There is a 15 year old girl in the group. I know they had her play a solo in one performance. I don't know if she will in this one. I'm really enjoying the narration of history that goes along with this performance tonight.

Yes, the narration is good. I'm probably enjoying the variety of music they are playing most of all - several styles, blues now and everything played to excellent standards.

I enjoyed it Alice. Mandolins can sound great in a bunch, and next October does sound like fun. I really liked the slow tune they did - The Far Horizon was the title maybe? (Reminded me a bit of Tubular Bells.) I could really imagine the miles and see gray-blue mountains in the distance.

It's called As Far As I Can See, and it's about the way Montana is. The title cut of their CD here.AS FAR AS I CAN SEE You can ask Bill Sables and Allan C. if this looks like any place they saw on their adventure.
