I heard this in a bar a few nights back...desperatly want the lyrics...I was told it was done by The Fureys but have not been able to locate it. Chorus is something like:

"Standing here, you and me, by the edge of the sea...I wish I was back home in Donegal."

Any ideas?

It might be Mick Flavin's "Home to my Donegal"....will listen to it tomorrow and see.
Off the top of my head, does this ring any bells??

Frank Nelson has recorded a song called "I Wonder If It's Raining Back Home In Donegal".

I couldn't find the words.
