Subject: I wish I was Home in Donegal From: GUEST,Tundra Clown Date: 06 Nov 00 - 06:38 PM I heard this in a bar a few nights back...desperatly want the lyrics...I was told it was done by The Fureys but have not been able to locate it. Chorus is something like: "Standing here, you and me, by the edge of the sea...I wish I was back home in Donegal." Any ideas? tundra_clown@hotmail.com |
Subject: RE: Lyr Req: I wish I was Home in Donegal From: Quincy Date: 06 Nov 00 - 07:32 PM It might be Mick Flavin's "Home to my Donegal"....will listen to it tomorrow and see. Off the top of my head, does this ring any bells?? Chorus This is my homeland, the place I was born in No matter where I roam It's in my soul My feet may wander, A thousand places But will always lead me Back home...to my Donegal. regards, Yvonne |
