OK first let me say that this probably isn't even in the BS category.. but we don't have one for absolute tripe yet.....

Following on from the Nude Hurdy Gurdy thread, and the fact that Mudcat needs money... and that someone suggested it in that thread......... and that we could do with a bit of cheering up.....

any volunteers? anyone you'd like to see included?...... I reckon strategically placed instruments...... although it doesn't even have to be nude..... lingerie accepted....... wouldn't Bert look cute in a teddy? *grin*....

maybe I shouldn't have suggested this at your bed time.. but with that lovely vision in your mind ....pleasant dreams America..... *grin*

How about this? Publish a calendar of full nudal affrontery. Nudity from any angle, for that matter, leaving only the FACES obscured. Let people speculate for a year. Then, as a Mudcat fundraiser, auction off the identities of the owners of the uh...things exhibited.

Well El Swanno, if you recall, I tried the "Match the Mudcat Ass" awhile back and it was a bit slow in getting any groundspeed.

How about a male and a female 'Catter on each page? Lessee here........SAY< how about you and pj on one page. Most would be separate photos, but in your case we could have a "couple shot." I figure a Scott Air-Pak and a bodhran oughta' about cover it......You could wear some of those boots........

And we could get Bill D. and Ferrara in a shot too......surrounded by zithers and autoharps.

But we could match up a few on pages too......I mean the progenitor of this thread, The Fair One, along with Big Mick........Got a lot of possibilities here.

I've got the sexiest cow in Mississippi, and she does not mind posing for photos. She is a bit of an exhibitionist, always running around TOTALLY NUDE!!

I have to admit, she has a great bod; nice jugs.

She enjoys the bull and some of my friends, but she has always spurned my advances (so far). I guess I am just not her type. (Any suggestions?)

She seems to be very liberated. I saw here humping another cow last Tuesday. She did not display any sense of shame at my having caught her in the act. In fact, she seemed to delight in it.

I suspect that she is being coy and playing hard to get and just trying to arouse my sense of jealously.

I could talk to her about your suggestion. I am quite certain she would agree!

ya know...I have a software program that does calendars.*grin*...you can tell it what holidays you want included, what pictures you want on each page, what font....then zippity-print...as many copies as you want!...It can even be customized (so you DON'T want Spaw, but you want Mick on 4 different pages?)...*mind churning with possibilities*

(I have a picture taken in 1975 of me on a mountain top near Juneau, Alaska...I had climbed for an hour and my clothes were wet from humidity and summer plants...so..*grin*...I hung 'em on a rock to dry...and got myself immortalized with snow capped peaks in the background!)...anyone else have a similar memento of youthful exhuberance?)

I modelled nude for an amateur photographer when I was in University. She then had a show of her stuff in the University library. The bad joke I made about it was to say that it didn't help my marks because all my professors were gay. I still have two of the pictures from then.

8 1/2 stone & 5"2 is NOT fat.. trust me..... (seeing as it describes me perfectly)... I was 7 stone 2lbs for most of my adult life until I had the kids (6.5 stone when I got married).... both were way too skinny ( I didn't try to stay thin it was just the way I was made.. ate like a horse and didn't put on weight)......

bbc a fully clothed calendar would be just as good... not so many opertunities for giggling I suspect... *grin*

we already have the lists and some of the photos.. what about a Mudcat calendar with the mudcatters who have their birthdays in a specific month displayed for that month??....... it'd make a fun screen saver too.. all proceeds to Mudcat.....

Bill, It was 'cos the 'wonderful' decimal system hadn't been invented then.

The first treatise on the decimal system to be published in Europe was by Simon Stevin in 1585, but it wasn't applied to units until 1790 something.

For the sake of everyone's sanity, I feel that my participation, if any, should be in a bull mask, singing the Incredible String Band's "Minotaur Song".

Being the possessor of more stones than most, I could live with being measured in quarters (28lbs) or even hundredweights (112lbs), but only if I can have my age in hexadecimal - base 16 is so age-friendly!

I'm game for the calendar, in bull-mask and sporting a strategically-placed bass balalaika.

If its going to happen it will have to happen soon or wait for 2002. I SERIOUSLY think the nude one would be more fun as long as "it's all done in the best possible taste" to quote Cupid Stunt. Of course we do have Mootlefish and Boats (both mudcatters in their own right ) who would gladly bare all but they are only 16 months so I think that would be exploitation at it's worst.

I just got a suggestion of how we could do it either way... Paper dolls--if you want 'em clothed, just cut out the clothes and stick 'em on!

And yes Firecat, ANYONE who thinks 8 1/2 stone is too heavy for 5-2 is more than a wee bit nuts. I'd be happy to get back to 9 1/2 but am usually satisfied with what I've got--as long as I have clothes on!

Umm. Here I was hoping my mother wouldn't read this thread. I doubt they were worse, considerably warmer, and intended for artisitc purposes. To the best of my knowledge, the film has been destroyed.

Matt, you're so sweet! If it helps, I don't generally suffer under that misconception, but then, I've been under my recommended weight allowance for as long as I've paid attention. (Even now, when my metabolism has stopped going nuts.) I'm 5'9" and 9 1/2 stone, and I figure my body feels good, looks fine, and does what I tell it to - who needs more?

Same here, Jess. I'm the just one inch shorter than you and the same weight. But last Spring, I was hitting 180. Ever since I started at 4-year university AND the UC, I've dropped 50-odd pounds since then. NOW my parents are worrying that I'm not eating ENOUGH! Hmmm...

I already have the requisite pictures...my best friend took some pictures of me the day before I cut off my waist-length hair last January. We decided that we needed a few pics with just my harp, my hair, and...me. *grin* With a lovely unicorn tapestry in the background (must protect our reputation, mustn't we? ;))

The only problem we had was lighting about ten candles in the background (safely away from the tapestry, of course). I forgot that my altar was directly under the smoke alarm. Oops. It's since been relocated to the other side of the room *grin*

This might be a good place to share a few of 'em. Is that one on your CD? How appropoe! BTW, are you familiar with a Celtic / Folk group called "Angel Band"? They have a gig advertized in the Portland paper out in Bar Mills Friday Night. Never heard of 'em before, but they certainly look interesting. That calender certainly sounds intruiging, but not many of my pards would recognize me out of uniform. The RAFG would find anything too risque even more embarrassing than just by being seen together in public attired as I normally am. Have a few pics if anyone really wants 'em...
