Subject: Wind of my soul From: GUEST,Llewellyn Date: 28 Nov 00 - 02:36 PM Currently on British TV there is an advert for Imperial Cancer Research featuring three little girls playing in a field. A song is playing of which the words seem to be: "I listen to the wind,to the wind of my soul. Where I end up, where I think, only God only knows." Does anyone recognise this song? |

Subject: RE: Wind of my soul From: katlaughing Date: 25 Apr 10 - 04:48 PM If you go to www.youtube.com and enter the name of the song with the artist's name, there are a bunch of videos with both. If you search using "Imperial Cancer Research" there are bunches which show up...maybe going through those you will find it? If you narrow it down to the year 2000, I see 104 videos which come up for the ICR. Good luck!:-) |
Subject: ADDPOP: The Wind (Cat Stevens) From: Joe Offer Date: 26 Apr 10 - 04:40 AM for the record, here are the lyrics I hear on the live recording on the Teaser and the Firecat (Deluxe Edition) album: THE WIND (Cat Stevens) I listen to the wind, to the wind of my soul Where I'll end up, well, I think only God really knows I sat upon the setting sun, but never, never, never, never I never wanted water once, no never, never, never I listen to my words, but they fall far below I let my music take me where my heart wants to go I swam upon the devil's lake, but never, never, never, never I'll never make the same mistake, no never, never, never Short song - only two minutes |
