Subject: RE: BS: Mudcat.org as default page in browser From: Joe Offer Date: 04 Dec 00 - 01:30 AM Spot and Puff may have better luck if they set their home page at www.mudcat.org - linking to other pages at Mudcat is a little bit more likely to cause problems. -Joe Offer- |

Subject: RE: BS: Mudcat.org as default page in browser From: Dave Wynn Date: 03 Dec 00 - 07:09 PM Agreed Mrs Duck...we Spot the Dogs know more than most that posts are so convenient. To Noreen (nice name) I am the Original and famous Spot the Dog...I have no pretentions and I am worked by strings as per original manufacturers spec. I bark and pee a lot and by some quirk of the fates I like the kind of music talked about on these pages. Lets not get into using keyboards with paws etc. , down that path lies madness. I am not recreated or reincarnated , I am white with black spots as all Spot the Dog's ought to be and any further questions should be directed to "Spot the Dog Merchandising Inc. with stamped addressed envelope enclosing a cheque for..........." |
Subject: RE: BS: Mudcat.org as default page in browser From: Geoff the Duck Date: 03 Dec 00 - 03:40 PM My wife has just commented to me how sad it is that we in England do not have Fire Hydrants! What a loss to our culture and street architecture it is! Quack Geoff the Duck |
Subject: RE: BS: Mudcat.org as default page in browser From: Noreen Date: 03 Dec 00 - 11:04 AM But, but, I thought Spot the Dog was the one in the "Where's Spot" books by Eric Hill- most popular with my children and translated into many languages- and he looks quite different from Spotty Dog in the Woodentops (from MY childhood)... so which one are you, huh? Or did you have plastic surgery and re-invent yourself ( with the help of Mr. Hill)? ...I think we should be told... Noreen |

Subject: RE: BS: Mudcat.org as default page in browser From: Bill D Date: 02 Dec 00 - 09:20 PM too much beer, Spot, and you'll be needing "the hair of the Human" in the morning... |
Subject: RE: BS: Mudcat.org as default page in browser From: Naemanson Date: 02 Dec 00 - 09:16 PM I think it foolish to make the Mudcat your defalut page on your browser. I am above all of that. I have my ISP's page as my default page. Of course I do have a shortcut on my desktop that taps directly into Mudcat... and I do use it more than the regular browser button... Oh never mind. Go lie down, Spot, and quit jumping for my glass of beer. |
Subject: RE: BS: Mudcat.org as default page in browser From: Dave Wynn Date: 02 Dec 00 - 08:40 PM Damn that bit part....a Dog does a comedy soap and gets labelled with the bloody thing for the rest of his career......I am an actor and folk singer for goodness sake...and I do just one childrens set and thats blown me out for the rest of my life!!!! Subject: RE: BS: Mudcat.org as default page in browser From: Dave Wynn Date: 02 Dec 00 - 08:12 PM Khandu, I just realised that my last posting could be contrued by humans as unpleasant..This is becase they don't have masters to worry about...Sorry. Spot |
Subject: RE: BS: Mudcat.org as default page in browser From: Dave Wynn Date: 02 Dec 00 - 08:04 PM Khandu, Do you mean that you open your browser every time to your own webpage.....My master would call that selfish.....(I am not opinionated on the subject) :-) |
Subject: RE: BS: Mudcat.org as default page in browser From: Dave Wynn Date: 02 Dec 00 - 08:00 PM If you must have a default...(and it isn't Mudcat you traitor) then try Mamma.com the mother of all search engines.! Thanks for the pats....(mind the fleas they really are a bother!) |
Subject: RE: BS: Mudcat.org as default page in browser From: GUEST,khandu Date: 02 Dec 00 - 07:58 PM Hello, Spot the Dog, and welcome to the 'cat. It is addicting, isn't it? I had Mudcat as my default page, but due to unexplained forces (maybe a hoo-doo from Catspaw!) I often have difficulty getting in to the 'cat. So I made my own page as the default and then go from there to the 'cat. If I had no difficulty getting on, it would remain my default page. Once again, welcome. Hang around and let us get to know you! khandu |
Subject: RE: BS: Mudcat.org as default page in browser From: Bill D Date: 02 Dec 00 - 07:53 PM *pat, pat*...there, there Spot...GOOD doggy..you have a fine attitude! (I don't have Mudcat as default, because I use search engines so often I use AltaVista & Goolgle usually...but it is in upper left corner of my browser as 1st URL) |
Subject: Mudcat.org as default page in browser From: Dave Wynn Date: 02 Dec 00 - 07:47 PM I am newish to this list. I have been a lurker and done (did ) the occasional posting. I have just made Mudcat.org my default page in my Browser (or perhaps in my Bow wow wowser). How many people have Mudcat.org as their default page. I got addicted some months ago and just find I cannot wait until my normal page appeared. My name is Spot the Dog and I am a Mud-Aholic These questions intrigue me being a Dog and not having much life outside! Spot |
