Spot and Puff may have better luck if they set their home page at www.mudcat.org - linking to other pages at Mudcat is a little bit more likely to cause problems.

Agreed Mrs Duck...we Spot the Dogs know more than most that posts are so convenient. To Noreen (nice name) I am the Original and famous Spot the Dog...I have no pretentions and I am worked by strings as per original manufacturers spec. I bark and pee a lot and by some quirk of the fates I like the kind of music talked about on these pages. Lets not get into using keyboards with paws etc. , down that path lies madness. I am not recreated or reincarnated , I am white with black spots as all Spot the Dog's ought to be and any further questions should be directed to "Spot the Dog Merchandising Inc. with stamped addressed envelope enclosing a cheque for..........."

But, but, I thought Spot the Dog was the one in the "Where's Spot" books by Eric Hill- most popular with my children and translated into many languages- and he looks quite different from Spotty Dog in the Woodentops (from MY childhood)... so which one are you, huh?

Or did you have plastic surgery and re-invent yourself ( with the help of Mr. Hill)? ...I think we should be told...

I am currently using 3 browsers and http://www.mudcat.org/threads.cfm is the default on all of them.

For the past couple of years I have had a Mudcat page as a default. I have had the Forum Home as default lately but have had the Messages Since Your Last Visit in the past.

If'n you Yanks knew what Spotty Doggin' meant in Morris dance circles you wouldn't take the urine....That bloody childrens T.V. show that made me famous involved moving both legs on each side simultaneously....left me with arthritis and lots of morris dancers with a problem.....!

I think it foolish to make the Mudcat your defalut page on your browser. I am above all of that. I have my ISP's page as my default page.

Of course I do have a shortcut on my desktop that taps directly into Mudcat... and I do use it more than the regular browser button...

I had Mudcat as my default page, but due to unexplained forces (maybe a hoo-doo from Catspaw!) I often have difficulty getting in to the 'cat. So I made my own page as the default and then go from there to the 'cat.

If I had no difficulty getting on, it would remain my default page.

I am newish to this list. I have been a lurker and done (did ) the occasional posting. I have just made Mudcat.org my default page in my Browser (or perhaps in my Bow wow wowser). How many people have Mudcat.org as their default page. I got addicted some months ago and just find I cannot wait until my normal page appeared.
