I am very nearly on my Christmas hols. and consequently feeling dead festive ( he assures me he doesn't mind), anyway this grew out of the first line,which for some bizarre reason has been squirreling all day.... but I bet people could improve on it.

On the Twelfth Day of Mudcat my true love gave to me
Twelve days in the Neil Young Centre
Eleven riled up folkies
Ten snogs from Morti
Nine Kats a-laughing
Eight Rogers Skiffling
Seven Liz's Squeaking,
Six trolls a -flaming
Five of Max's elves
Four Cleigh O'Possums
Three election threads
Two guys called Reg
And a catfish in a banjo

What were you thinking of? Between the riled up doohdahs, the elves and the O'Possums, the mother is in a right old state, it's taken two bottles of whisky and thirty grains of valium to quieten her down. It was bad enough last time with the geese and all, but this is TOOO MUCH!
