If I remember right, Rick Fielding's radio show starts at 9p Mudcat EST time. I know he's probably already gone to the station, but we can all tune and find out who the guests might be this week. Just click here: CIUT.

That's what threw me, I looked at the Mudcat radio page because my bookmark on RP didn't say. I kept thinking it was at 5p rocky mtn time, no wonder I found the alternative guy on there.

Take it easy with that shoveling, Rick. Rog says "God/dess/GreatSpirit/Mother Nature brought it; G/d/GS/MN can take it away!"

Only five stalwarts showed up for song circle in Orillia. We're getting some of that same lovely, beautiful, wonderful snow. It really is very pretty and great for tobogganing.

Snow in Wyo? Hell no, er, um, I mean hell yes!! Although we missed the big one they were predicting. It was supposed to hit us hard from Sat. night through this coming Thursday. All we got was about 3-4 inches, BUT it is bitterly cold with a slight wind which really puts the edge on it. Now that we are 1,000 feet lower, living by the river, instead of up at the foot of the mountain, we don't get near as much and there are actually trees in the neighbourhood to stop the wind! I almost feel as though we moved to the tropics! LOL!!

Snow, snow, lots and lots of lovely lovely snow. Its four blocks to the kid's school but I think they're staying home today, its higher than my daughter's waist. A day for hot chocolate and preparing the house for Christmas without worrying about the outside world.

Are you saying that Paul James is on the next show, the eighteenth? I've seen his solo acoustic show a few times and he does a wonderful job with Robert Johnsons material among others. He sure is a fine player and a very nice guy.

His band just played our company Christmas Party on Friday.

Unfortunately I can't make it to the studio as I have a pre-Christmas get together that night. Thanks for the invitation and say hi to Paul for me.

'Catters, be sure to tune in to this one. Paul is an excellent player. I've posted about him before on a Robert Johnson thread. Like Rick, he has a great knowledge of country blues and plays it extremely well. Paul has played with Dylan, Lightnin' Hopkins, Bo Diddley, John Hammond, Sunnyland Slim to mention a few.

Jon informed me that the new time slot that we took a number of months ago (7pm) wasn't passed on to Mudcat listings. My fault entirely and I apologise to anyone who tried to tune in and got "Contemporary Melodic Aggressive Rock" instead. (although maybe that show got some new fans by the mistake)

I don't like bothering Max with minutiae, so if a Joeclone can fix it, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Ya didn't need 'im, Rick. You sounded damn good, except when you quit singing You & Me in your Turtle demo; Rog and I were mid-twirl in the kitchen when you broke it off! We had a great time listening to you and Heather and wasn't there someone else there as well? I didn't catch whether there was despite the no-show as I was in the other room part of the time.

It is SO nice to hera your shows, again, just BRILL, my friend!
