Hey Mudcatters, if you'd like to hear some traditional AND untraditional Christmas music (jazz, blues, etc.), Christmas quizzes and interviews, tune in to KERA's (Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX) 27th Annual Christmas Blockbuster, broadcasting on the Web until 12:00 midnight (that's 11:00 p.m. Mudcat time). Click here and click on the link that's next to "What's On Radio". Don't worry if it shows a different program name, you'll still get to hear the Blockbuster.

FYI - You'll need to have Windows Media Player to hear the show.

Hey mehitabel!

I hope you get a chance to hear a good bit of this show -- This guy plays everything from church choirs to Ozzy Ozbourne! Jazz, blues, R&B, bluegrass, classical, novelty -- you name it, he'll play it. Listening to this show is a family tradition for my house. Lots of good music and good laughs.

It's still on, folks. Just heard Charles Laughton reading Mr. Pickwick's Christmas. I now know what a game of snapdragon is -- do you? ;-)
