Subject: Irish folk music; Donal came across the Heath
From: jamers5@southwind.net

I am looking for the lyrics to a song. Could anyone here help? Where should I look? The title is unknown. Some of the lyrics go like this:

"Donal came across the heather.
Shook a snowdrop from the feather
Of his bonnet blue."

"Came to meet me, came to greet me
In the tempest, in the sunshine... etc.

"When the snow was on the mountain
And the ice was on the fountain
Donal came mo more across the glen.... etc.

If there are any ideas, please help. Thank you.
