Subject: James Taylor sings "I Will" From: GUEST,BBJfla Date: 22 Dec 00 - 03:53 PM I hope one of you can help he out here. My wife thinks I'm going crazy, and I'm starting to wonder, myself. One day sitting in a restaurant, I heard a recording of James Taylor singing the Lennon/McCartney song "I Will". You know, the one that goes "Who know how long I've loved you? You know I love you still." So I hinted to my wife that she should find out what album the song was on and get me that for Christmas. So she has asked and searched and had no luck in finding a source for this recording. Anyone out there know where this recording is to be found? |

Subject: RE: James Taylor question From: Zebedee Date: 22 Dec 00 - 04:26 PM Hmmm, I don't think you're going mad but I think you've probably made a mistake. I checked the official site ( a href="www.jamestaylor.net">www.jamestaylor.net ) and the comprehensive looking unofficial site ( www.james-taylor.com ) which Spaw mentioned, without any luck. The unofficial site also includes a long list of bootlegs, but nothing there either. Sorry for being no help, but are you sure? Ed |

Subject: RE: James Taylor question From: BBJfla Date: 22 Dec 00 - 04:45 PM I just got straightened out at the chat room on the online site. It was NOT JAMES Taylor who sang "I Will". It was BEN Taylor. Thanks for all the help. |
Subject: RE: James Taylor question From: BBJfla Date: 22 Dec 00 - 05:26 PM Then I couldn't find it under Ben Taylor either. Turns out Ben has never released an album as such. The song is on the soundtrack album of the movie "Bye Bye, Love". Anyway, mystery solved. Thanks again to one and all. |
