What say we start part 2 of this? Kat suggested we could use this thread theme for everyday pictures as well, I think it's a good idea. Our reenacting season is getting into full swing again and I am sure I will have some new material to post in a while. I will start a new thread. I will title it Mudcat Family Album II. See ya'll there.....

Mikey is adorable in glasses!! My kids have had them since they were babies. No "duh" needed, 'Spaw, there are some pretty weird decorations out there. Some people even have giant singing fish, I understand!

Pat, please tell Mikey I think he looks very handsome in his glasses.....I was about his age when I first started wearing them and needed a lot of reassurance. Allison, love the socks!!!

"Little Abe guy.....?" OH! He's a nutcracker of Godfather Drosselmeier from the ballet of the Nutcracker. Maggie used to call him "God-Drossel-Fire-myer" when she was little!

Kat, there's a page TWO to that album with three pictures on it where you'll find Maddie the Cockatiel.

Banj.......Yep, I bought it.....Your "Pride and Joy".....I couldn't figure out why the sign page, then it loaded and I got the little cartoon jackass head image of myself. Awful pun man............

ALLISON!!!!!! Just GREAT pictures!!! Love the socks thing....and you get a nice shot out of your window there too. Who's the little Abe lookin' guy sitting on the table to the left of the lamp?

I agree with kat, we need a kind of anytime photo thread. This is fun!!

Willie-dog is adorable, Allison, and your family looks great; love your socks and your smile!

Pat, saw Mikey's glasses...good looking kid, but where the heck is Maddie? Did I forget my glasses???:-)

Oh, Banj, couldja send some of that pride and joy over here? LOL

Very Nice, Animaterra....This Photoloft thing is getting easier each time I use, it seems. BTW..What DID Willie-dog get for Christmas? Is Ophelia sitting in her present?

I found the picture I promised to show 'Spaw in an earlier post. It can be found added to my 'Signs Of The Times' album. Click here

OK- I finally got these back from the developer. Had them develop the whole thing onto disk. Then it took me two hours this morning to figure out how to get them on to Photoloft!! But here is the Hillside family Christmas

Very nice, 'Spaw. Mike and Tristan both seem to still be on a "Christmas high" Good for them....We older folks tend to put it behind us too fast! AS for your interpretation of Jaeger's facial expression "Aw geez....Why is he bothering my sleeping time with that damn flashing thing?" I think you may have cleaned up the phrase for a G rating. He looks more like he's saying "OK, blind me with that damn thing again and your ass is my supper, get my drift?"

In the shot of Karen admiring the Pokemon cards you show us one of the joys of your life. Soon as I can find it I will upload a picture of my pride and joy.

Thanks everybody for your very nice comments. Auntie's house actually belonged to Uncle's mom and dad, and he wasn't sure of the age but he guessed it was built in the 1920s-30s. The house up the road from them, however, was John Hunt Morgan's headquarters at one point during the Civil War.

Banjer, Mister is wearing a reproduction Columbus Depot jacket and you are definitely in the ballpark. I think they started making those in 1862 but I don't rightly know.

The great fur hat, I bought last summer for $8 in an antique mall in Paducah, KY. It has served me well these cold days. Also it came in real handy when I decided to change my name to Svetlana. :)

I have a photo of us in 18th century stuff which I will put up later. Although I think the colonial gear makes my butt look big...........

Yes wondeful pix from all who participated. Like 'Spaw, I wish we could get more.

John, if you have a scanner just scan your pix, save to a file, or to a disc in your A Drive, and then go to the photoloft site and follow the instructions. (There is even a feature which I learned where you can upload multi images by e-mail!) Like Kat said, I figured it out. (If I could figure it out I am sure you can also.) Thanks everybody for the neat pictures.

Kim, I noticed the period impression, you are hard to place in a certain time, but hubby looks like something in a Confederate Infantry, late war, c1863-1865. Am I in the ballpark?

All kidding aside, these are all great pix. Kim, just beautiful and talk about your hottie's Matt. Kim, your period look is fantastic!!!!......Banj and Bill and everybody has made this thread a lot of fun. I wish we could get more on it, but we'll try again on something else. Maybe if folks get used to the idea we'll get some more......And where is Bill D. btw????

Anyway, thanks gang.......I think most of you have enjoyed it too.

Well, I've got a site that I slapped together so people could see my kids, and there is a pic of my son with Santa on it. But that's as close as we've gotten to pictures of Christmas this year. And since I've usually been the one wielding the camera, there's only one pic of me (entitled Griffin meets Sabrina). But if you're curious and want to see some really cute kiddos, click here:

Catspaw, I would love your help. If I mail you my photos, promise me you won't go 'touching the picture up'......if you know what I mean.
Or does that sort of thing only work with the digital camera? Someone once did some very creative digital adjustments with certain parts of my anatomy.

or me too. Happy to do it. I have a digital camera, but just finally got a scanner and I'm having a good time with it too. Let any of us know and we'll be happy to scan them in.

I bought more digital camera than I needed, but there are some very nice ones available for "fun shooting" at pretty reasonable prices.

Mr. Bill, she's talking about she is going to have to buy a camera first, the way I read it. Ms. Bonnie, a suggestion, so you can still get in on the fun for this New Years, get one of those disposable, one time use cameras that comes all ready to go. You could pick one up tommorow and still be in time for the New Years whatever that may be happenin'. You other folks also, if you haven't got digital or scanning capabilities any number of us that do would be happy to help get YOUR memories on the site so that all may share them with you. Like Mr. Bill said, PM me also if you like and I too would be happy to help out.

Wish I had a piccy of the sign pointing to the toilets on the Stone Pier, Weymouth Harbour - it points directly out to sea!

The other is a cattle crossing sign - silhouette of a cow in a red triangle, poised firmly over a sign that says Wynford Eagle. Funny looking livestock round there!

It's I who live in Alabama; Anne and I are not related, as far as we know, but then we're native Tennesseeans. I came TO Alabama with a banjo on my knee many years ago. I was born in East Tennessee, where the bloodlines get really interesting.
