Subject: RE: Tech Notes at the Mudcat from Max From: Joe Offer Date: 25 Sep 97 - 04:47 PM Hi, Again, Max - I had trouble even getting into the forum, so I was unable to reset my cookie. What I had to do was reboot, open Microsoft Internet Explorer and empty the Temporary Internet files folder, and then reboot again before logging on. Not sure why I had all the problems. I e-mailed you the error message you got. Maybe you should post a notice on the Mudcat Home Page to tell people how to solve this problem. Thanks. -Joe Offer, relieved to be back- |
Subject: RE: Tech Notes at the Mudcat from Max From: Max Date: 26 Sep 97 - 09:27 AM I think I got it all fixed up. That was my fault. We need to reset our cookies because the domain name differences. I will post a note when I get it all straight. We're going to be going through some reorganization to further take advantage of membership and cookies. Stay tuned and bare with us. |
Subject: RE: Tech Notes at the Mudcat from Max From: Joe Offer Date: 26 Sep 97 - 02:53 PM Hi, Max - when I tried to get to the forum today after logging on at Mudcat.org, I got an error message. I got in after I emptied out my temporary internet files folder, but I'm not sure if that's what did the trick, or if it was something else. -Joe- |
