Hi, I've been trying without success to get a copy of the out-of-print record by Steve Mann entitled "Live at the Ashgrove" or mp3 files of the same. Any ideas?

Did you have any luck getting that Steve Mann lp? I have a recording of his "Straight Life" lp, but that's all, but I'm hoping like crazy to get anything else he put out!! Anybody have anything? I have lots of stuff to trade, just LET ME KNOW!

I have the vinyl....it's on Blind Pig Records...and I think I got it quite a while ago through Sierra Records (in Pasadena, CA). You might try calling him (John Delgatto, that is) to see if he has any ideas. You are right to be hunting this up- Mann was by far the most amazing finger-picker I have ever heard (yes, including Doc). -Steve

(to my knowledge there were only 500 pressed, and they never released any other record)

and yes, I'm planning to add sound clips to my page in the near future
and no, I do *not* have the time to supply custom CDs
