Subject: RE: BS: #1 peasant has lots of hobbies From: catspaw49 Date: 30 Dec 00 - 11:42 AM I wish that my ol' buddy the Super Pissant had nothing to do with this, because I'd really love to comment on this. As it is, anything I say will sound like I'm directing it at Conrad and I'm not. Basically, although I'm a bit nuts myself, I find this sort of thing dumb. There's the guy with his microbus sodded with turf and growing nicely.....or the several carpeted cars, the duct tape things, the stickers. Just kinda' dumb. There was a guy back in the late 60's here in Columbus, OSU student, who completely covered his VW (except for a small section of each window) with stickers that said, "FUCK MICHIGAN" ........Oh yeah, there's the "Screw Car" with a screw every half inch of body space. Subject: RE: BS: #1 peasant has lots of hobbies From: InOBU Date: 31 Dec 00 - 10:29 AM Hey Conrad: I live on Saint Marks Place in New York, a magnet for art cars, the TV car often comes by... Good luck with it all, Larry |

Subject: RE: BS: #1 peasant has lots of hobbies From: sophocleese Date: 31 Dec 00 - 05:00 PM I also wonder why anyone would drive a plain car. We don't have one so I can't paint my own. At fifteen I did paint a dragon on the side of my parent's VW. If there's a large plain surface around I'll probably try and decorate it somehow. I can't stand to have a plain insrument case and have painted my guitar case as well as my husband's fiddle and banjo cases. |

Subject: RE: BS: #1 peasant has lots of hobbies From: catspaw49 Date: 31 Dec 00 - 08:21 PM Install hydraulics and mount a little hat on the top with two boobs on the front and call it "Carhop." Paint it to look like a festering boil with yellow ooze coming down from the roof and call it Carbuncle. Paint it to look like a giant tumor and call it Carcinogen. Or better yet, just cover it in gasoline and strike a match. Spaw |
