Subject: Good News - Got the European Project From: Patrish(inactive) Date: 03 Jan 01 - 08:47 AM Hi, just wanted to let you all know that I am in work for another two years. I posted a thread last year asking for ideas to name a thematic network on the food industry. Sian from wales came up with CAFE which stands for CONSORTIA for AGRI-FOOD in EUROPE. The commission seem to like our proposal, so now all we have to do in the next three months is come up with a contract that the commission will also like! many thanks Sian love Patrish PS Happy Everythings! |

Subject: RE: Good News - Got the European Project From: Patrish(inactive) Date: 03 Jan 01 - 11:24 AM Hi Guest, well you seem to have me mixed up with someone else as I dont have that many sucesses - so i am crowing about this one. As to me xxxxing off, well sorry dont feel like it. Hoping my death is painful is a bit sad couldn't you think of anything more original - I suppose not - you couldn't even think of a suitable name. Shame really I feel quite sorry for you. Catrin - I am off to the Jug tonight - hope to see you there soon KB a thematic network is a group of people who work together on a similar sector in this case it is the food sector, so I will be doing research on the many projects in the EU that are up and running, to make sure we don't duplicate stuff. Later on I will be travelling round europe to meet our partners which are from 17 regions in the EU. For example we hope to learn from what farmers in Italy do to diversify, hopefully it will help farmers in other EU countries. Thanks for all your congrats And thanks Paddymac love Patrish |

So does that mean collecting or devising recipes? Or methods for growing things or looking after livestock? Or how restaurants should be organised? Or all of these things? Whatever it is, I'm sure there are lots of eager Mucatters with ideas they're dying to let you have...(Ignore Guests with indigestion problems!) |
