I thought it was called "Tide and the River Risin'". I've only heard it live by LJ Booth and a scratchy recording off the radio. I tried the usual Mudcat search--heck, maybe it's one of you that wrote it!

Hi, John - it's called "Tide and the River Rising" looks like it's on a Cindy Kallett CD called "Dreaming Down a Quiet Line" - you'll find the lyrics in this thread (click). Cindy's CD's are marketed by one of out two favorite CD sellers, Folk-Legacy Records (click).
