For all of you who still believe that myth that I don't sing, this won't change your mind!
But I am going to be one of the performers in a recital Thursday night for all who are in the Seattle area and would like to attend!
Location is at Shoreline Community College.
Date is Thursday, January 11th, at 7:30pm!
Admision is free!

I'm playing a piece by Alexandre Tansman called Danza Pomposa on the classical guitar. There will be plenty of others there to fill in the rest of the slots! There will mostly be piano and voice (accompanied by a piano). Hope you can enjoy it! Hope to see you there.

Any other night but Thursday, and I might have been able to make it, but that's my night to spend with my daughter, and it's sacrosanct. Sorry!

Your daughter is welcome Alex, though younger ones can find it hard to sit through an evening of classical music. Sumner is quite far south though. I'll see what I can do next time! This one is put on by the music program at SCC so I get no say in where or when it's held.

The song was called Sweet Jesus by Ted Hawkins. It is off his "Love You Most of All (More Songs from Venice Beach)" album.

IT'S ONE OF THE ONES i TAPED OFF hEARmE, ISN;T IT? oops!!! sorree!!!

The thing is, the tape is caught up in the post-Red Cross-stress-recovery mess under the clearing-up-from-housefire stuff, in a swiss-cheese-minded memory. I remember loving the song though.

Aw, I think I want you to make me a tape! And I am WAY behind on repaying all the people I owe tapes to, already!
