Subject: Personal Profiles...
From: Bernard
Date: 13 Jan 01 - 07:14 PM

Perhaps a little silly, childish, or whatever, but it made me smile:

This originally came to me in chain letter email form, but I thought it was better than most.

So I've decided to share it with you lot! I've tried to make it as friendly as possible - you should be able to copy and paste it into a text editor and retain the linebreaks when it is posted back.

For those who don't understand HTML, the <br> characters are the linebreaks - at the beginning of a line to make life easier.

Use your Mudcat name if you prefer, and answer only those questions you are comfortable with. Please try to resist looking at anyone else's before you post your own!!

Should make interesting reading...

Kendall - yes, I do.
Scanning back thru some of these it helps to round out ideas of a person's personality that I've only been able presume at bits and pieces of, based upon an individual's posts and reactions to others.
Having seen you on this forum as a rather prominent name, I'd like to understand a bit more about you than what I could glean from the oft heated exchanges between you and Mbo.

Broccoli is doing quite well, isn't it? (maybe we should put in Brussels Sprouts?) Sex seems popular even if overrated, Lots of dust bunnies and stuffed animals (live or otherwise) on Mudcat, 2 rings seems fairly standard. The fave CD's and Movies are very broken up; guess that says more about our personalies and sense of humor than any other question. Interesting stuff, and it's good to see Homeless, and he seems to have a place to live, even if it's not a home, per se.

Mousethief, glad to see a vote for the lowly dibble, was quite adept at its use when I used to support my habits as a youth, by earning money pricking off.

constipation?....hmmm.....certainly was for Elvis Presley, seems it was the root cause of his death, at least according to a radio programme I was listening to yesterday. Something I would rather have not known but couldn't resist sharing.

This is great fun. Kendall, of course we find you interesting. Trivial Pursuit seems to be first for favorite board games, and a lot of people seem to like sci-fi movies ant TV shows. This probably says something about the group, but I'm not sure what.

Surprised how few are prepared to specify a favourite CD. I know it changes all the time, but so do favourite foods. I picked sausage and mash last night, tonight it would be cod and chips, and my favourite CD would be Fairport Convention, Liege and Lief.

I guess what I was trying to say (perhaps not very well) is that in the same way that you may have found reading other peoples' profiles interesting (which I have assumed you did because you seem to have read the thread), other people may find your profile ineresting. P.S. I want to jump on the Robert Service bandwagon, too. I've had "The Cremation of Sam McGee" memorized for approximately ten years--a family friend used to recite it for me as a child, and when he died I memorized it in honor of him. Probably a bit rusty though...

If it's infinite 'taint a bloody number. Neither is Zero. There's no such thing as either. Math gets to be much more understandable if you don't try to make the infinite, finite, and if you don't try to assign a value to nothing.

Must admit that it is not original

"I've had problems with my sex life since I fell and broke my wrist" is from Fred Wedlocks "The Folker".

I did try women once but it is not as good as the real thing;-) (Think about it.....)
