Well!

What can I say... I thoroughly enjoyed myself. We had them all swinging from the rafters. It really was great, everyone sang along to the old favourites.. and that was lovely. We even did the thing that most big proper bands do when they sing... stop in the song and let the audience carry on... and it sounded great. The set list went out of the window... we just used it as a guide, as we had to judge the audience and keep them going. So we ended up not doing some of our nice quieter songs.. but then we saved them for the session afterwards in the pub.

I played so much my wrists actually hurt!

I felt sick to my stomach to start off with... but luckily we had all of our best friends and family right out there in front of us... they were having fun so it was great to see them there too. That was the best thing, seeing them.

After we finished, we had various people thanking us as we packed away, and coming up to chat. It was a hard gig - and I was only too scared of what might happen if we had lost our audience - and they were a big audience, but we managed to keep going.

I had so much fun - it was great....and the craic with the lads in the audience was funny too. Talk about blarney!

So, waiting to see how Bonnie got on now?

I don't know if I can do many like this one in a year!

I am still in agony with my wrists... have reached out for some Ibuoprofen, and hopefully that will do the job.

It is Monday, and I back to my day job, wrecked and knackered.

Hopefully some more will come of it who knows. If it is to be then it is to be.

Any news from Bonnie, on how she got on with her gig?
