Looking for fiddle tune, "Rocky Mtn. Goat". I learned it in the Bay area, I think in '75. I pretty much gave up on it 'til I stumbled upon this site. Real exciting!!!!!!!

I did not find a midi or gif, but I did find out that it is recorded on a CD here, offered by Folk Legacy. Scroll down until you find the Susan Trump CD called Tree of Life. Maybe you could learn it off the CD......sorry.

MMario, that's a mandolin site--it says "learned from a frailing banjo player"--looks like mando tab to me. A smart fiddler could figger it out if it is mando. Good job!

I took a longer look at that tab. It's mandolin and I remebered the tune just by singing the tab! sometimes thats all it takes. just a little nudge to the brain!! thanks again.

*sorry* my search guide said it was a banjo tab, and I wouldn't know one from a hole in the wall. or a mandolin tab. but glad it was helpful.
