Ed, try it out tonight. I found a setting that seems to make it work with as old as 5.0. Its untested but hey, isn't that the fun of Mudcat Radio?

Hey guys, don't knock Alaska - winter is the best time to visit, because there aren't any tourists and the weather isn't as bad as you'd expect. I worked there for three weeks in December, 1994, and it was wonderful. I'll bet Seamus is having a great time.

I'll be there on the first Tuesday in February if I can find my way home(thanks Sorcha for the date). Bert, thanks for the site. I'm so lame it was on top of my screen the whole time. Told ya this computer is my new axe. Geordie, I'm sorry I spelled your name wrong but, I really don't speel so gud without spiel check in this window and I rarely proofread anything I write when I'm excited. Woody, the ICQ FolkChat group is only open during the Radio show. It usually is every Tues, from 7PM-9 PM Eastern (US) time, but Max (the Emperor) is busy for a couple weeks. Most of us have ICQ numbers, or posted e mail.

Go up to the top of the page, and click on the arrow beside the box that says Quick Links. Select Mudcat Resources and it will send you to a page that lets you choose photos, e mail addresses, or profiles. Then you can get to know us.

There is also a "performance/chat room on a server called PalTalk, you will have to find it on the Web, then download and install it. The room is not open all the time, watch the threads for when it is open, and ask how to get in.

I reccomend that you go read the very first thread, the teal one, that is the MudCat FAQ and should tell you everything you need to know. Good Luck and come on back!

Good night, I've got to stoke up the old woodstove and get some sleep so, in the morning, I can resume repair work on my oil-fired furnace? The furnace went out a couple of days ago. However, I have rediscovered the joy of woodheat...constant, quiet, and cheap! AND the stove cooks up a mean batch of "Maine Shrimp Tarragon!" The only hich is I have to exercize on a regular basis (not a bad thing). Gotta go outside and get another charge of wood for the stove. Good night, Woody

Having automatic natural gas heat, I often forget to stoke the stove. Hubby fusses at me for it. Oh well, he cuts and splits, all I do is burn the stuff. If I had to cook with it, everything would be either raw or burnt! Nite, now.

Woody, there are a lot of 'catters in the Maine-NH area. Don't be a stranger.
