Subject: Need lyrics: From: Downeast Bob Date: 01 Oct 97 - 04:47 PM In early August I was jamming with a guy called "Danville Dan" at the annual hobo convention in Britt, Iowa. One of the songs he sang, which I'd never heard before, was about traveling through America and seeing wheatfields, mountains, ghettos, factories, etc. Each verse ended with a line like, "big or small, I've seen it all, through a boxcar door. Dan said it was recorded by Boxcar Willie, but was written by someone else. Does anyone know the words. |
