|HI all,

some guys at my school, avon old farms ae putting on a rock concert, and a popular request around school is devil went down to georgia by the charlie daniels band. i am the only violin player in the school and i struggle. if you would please be so kind as to send me a tablature or any info on the violin solos it would be greatly appreciated by the community here at avon. thanks for your time and effort.

I think the only way you are going to find this is to go to your local music store and request that they order it. It is mostly a spoken vocal, with "fiddle breaks" in double stops, but I will go look and see if there is any tab, etc. on the net.

Try looking at this thread, Click here and see if any of that helps. It also helps if you put the title of the song/tune you are looking for in the thread title......"violin" doesn't say too much. Sorry if we're not more help. Charlie just went "nutso" on this one.......Devil's Dream, Fire on the Mountain, etc.

If all else fails, just tell the fiddler to use double shuffles in A when in doubt.......(well, or whatever key your vocalists are in.....)
