Several years ago, I saw a performer named Dewey Burns. His tag line on his post card mailings was, "Dewey Burns...don't he." A real treat to see live. A good mix of original and traditional music. I heard somewhere that he had died from some illness, which saddened me. I have just found a site with his CD which he was working on when he died. The CD is filled out with performances of a few of his songs by friends who loved him. Anyway, the site is: Click here for FOLKWEB

They list independent artist with a good way to select categories (upper left). Two minute song samples are available as well. Check it out.

Got my CD quickly. Site seems to work well for small labels, artists, and the consumer as well. Check out folkweb radio, too.
