Years ago, I heard a version of "The Preacher and the Bear" in which the preacher finally wins the fight when they fall in the river and he holds the bear under water. It ends with the preacher singing the line "The hardest job I ever did was the baptizing of that bear!"

The version in the Digitrad archives doesn't have it, and I found the original 1904 sheet music at The Lester S. Levy Collection of Sheet Music which also doesn't include it.

Anyone know it?

Nevermind. I just answered my own question. There's a second version of "Preacher and the Bear" in the Digitrad that didn't come up when I searched by the title, but did appear when I searched for baptize.
